Chronology
The eighth part of the long-running “Mission Impossible” franchise. Production of the 7th and 8th parts is planned to be shot sequentially. That changed after filming wrapped on the 7th, as Tom Cruise had to leave to promote the sequel, Maverick (2022). Mission Impossible (1996) followed. Theme “Mission Impossible”, author Lalo Shifrin.
