All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentat, the Navigator, and the Sook Doctor. Honestly, the whole time I was watching the series I felt like it should be on the SyFy channel.
Unfortunately, I think this falls into the category of recent shows like Rings of Power (which I’d say is actually better)
I’ve heard that to really understand this series you have to read the book, so maybe that’s why the story just didn’t seem rich or compelling (because I was distracted by everything around me, and that’s what happens when my attention is lost). Although you could say that the production value was great, it just doesn’t feel like it belongs on MAX, especially with their other big hits.
