Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV. 6 episodes in, but still so gripping, the script is its own worst enemy. Unfortunately, the writers have made the characters total idiots where they simply make unrealistic decisions, from the main characters making decisions that no sane person would ever make to the police and FBI doing things that would never happen. In real life, since they would all get paid for all the supporting roles, it really hurts the overall story. It’s like watching a horror movie where the characters can decide to break up because they don’t want to work together, even though there’s an axe-wielding maniac somewhere. I like the premise of the story and the acting, although not great, but the script is terrible. I’m really struggling to finish this.
